What happens during a BBL HEROic appointment?
When you arrive you will be greeted at the front door by our incredible team. They will help you feel right at home as you prepare for your visit with your provider. Soon after, your provider will escort you back to your relaxing treatment room where you both will have a candid conversation about your skin and your goals to determine your personalized treatment plan. Once you agree on a plan, they will cleanse the treatment area and use the BBL HEROic device to deliver precise pulses of light to your skin. The visit typically takes 20-30 minutes. There is minimal downtime and most patients return to normal activities immediately!
Is there any pain or downtime?
BBL HEROic treatments are generally well-tolerated. Most patients describe the sensation as a light rubber-band snap or warm flash. There is no significant downtime and you can return to your normal activities right away. Some mild redness or warmth at the treatment site may occur, but this typically resolves within a few hours.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients see results with just one treatment and optimal results after a series of 3 treatments spaced about 3-4 weeks apart. Many patients continue with a maintenance session once or twice a year to preserve their glow. We recommend scheduling regular treatments to keep your skin looking its best year-round.

It works best on lighter skin tones and is not recommended for those with very dark or recently tanned skin, or for individuals who are pregnant. Our MOXI Laser or SkinTyte treatments are available for darker skin tones. A consultation with our providers will help determine if BBL HEROic is right for you.
Are there any side effects from BBL HEROic?
BBL HEROic has an excellent safety record when administered by trained professionals. Side effects are generally mild and temporary. The most common include slight redness or a warm, sunburn-like sensation at the treatment site. Rarely, patients may experience temporary darkening of spots before they flake off, which typically resolves on its own. Our experienced providers take every precaution to minimize risks and maximize your results.
