Postpartum care
After pregnancy and birth, your hormones shift dramatically, and for some moms they don't settle back on their own. Months later you may still feel exhausted, foggy, anxious or just not like yourself.
At Epiphany Clinic, we look at your symptoms, recovery and labs together, including hormone and thyroid levels, then build a gentle, personalized plan to support you through this season. Learn more about hormone therapy for women.
How it works
01
Tell us how you're really doing: energy, sleep, mood and recovery. In person or virtually, and no question is too small. In the office, we draw your labs at the same visit.
02
Labs check hormone and thyroid levels, with results typically back within 48 hours, so your plan is based on real data. Let us know if you're breastfeeding; it shapes which options are right for you.
03
Stephany walks you through your results and options, which can include creams, injections or hormone pellets depending on your labs, with clear pricing before anything starts. We typically wait on pellets until you're done breastfeeding.
04
Your body keeps changing after baby, so we follow up and adjust your plan along the way.
Typical timeline: Day 1 consultation and labs in our office · results within 48 hours · Day 3 review your results and plan · medication ships the next day, so you could start in as little as 5 days. Doing a virtual consult or live farther away? Get your labs at a Labcorp near you, which usually adds a day or two.

Your questions, answered
When should I get checked after having a baby?
If you still feel exhausted, foggy or not like yourself a few months after delivery, it's worth a conversation. You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable.
Can I get help if I'm breastfeeding?
Yes, we can still talk through your symptoms and labs. Breastfeeding affects which treatments are appropriate, so tell us and we'll tailor your plan.
Is this the same as treatment for postpartum depression?
No. Hormone care can support mood, energy and sleep, but it isn't a replacement for mental health care. If you're struggling with your mood, tell us and we'll help you find the right support. If you ever feel unsafe, call or text 988.
What does the first visit look like?
A complimentary consultation to talk through how you're feeling, then labs. Stephany reviews your results with you and explains your options and costs before anything starts.
How much does it cost?
Your consultation is complimentary and initial labs are $400. We explain the cost of your ongoing plan before you start. See our price guide.
Do you take insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly, but we can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for labs or visits.
