Perimenopause care
Perimenopause is the transition before menopause, often starting in your late 30s or 40s, when estrogen and progesterone begin to rise and fall unpredictably. The changes are easy to brush off and hard to live with.
At Epiphany Clinic, Stephany Reese, APRN, FNP-C, looks at your symptoms and your labs together, then builds a personalized plan, which may include bioidentical hormones, to help you sleep, think and feel like yourself again. Learn more about hormone therapy for women.
How it works
01
Tell us what's changed: sleep, mood, cycles, energy. We listen and answer every question, in person or virtually. In the office, we draw your labs at the same visit.
02
Labs check your hormone levels and related markers, with results typically back within 48 hours, so your plan starts from real data, not guesswork.
03
Stephany walks you through your results and options, including creams, injections and hormone pellets, with clear pricing before anything starts.
04
Hormones keep shifting through perimenopause, so we follow up and fine-tune your plan as your body changes.
Typical timeline: Day 1 consultation and labs in our office · results within 48 hours · Day 3 review your results and plan · medication ships the next day, so you could start in as little as 5 days. Doing a virtual consult or live farther away? Get your labs at a Labcorp near you, which usually adds a day or two.

Your questions, answered
What age does perimenopause start?
Many women notice changes in their 40s, and some in their late 30s. Perimenopause can last several years, until periods have stopped for 12 months (menopause).
How do I know if it's perimenopause?
Hot flashes, night sweats, poor sleep, mood changes and irregular cycles are common signs. Labs help us understand what's happening, but we always look at how you feel too, not just the numbers.
Is hormone therapy right for me?
It depends on your health history. Stephany reviews your history and labs before recommending anything and talks openly about benefits and risks. Hormone therapy isn't right for everyone, and we'll tell you if it isn't right for you.
How soon will I feel better?
Every body is different. Many patients notice better sleep and fewer hot flashes within the first few months, and finding your ideal dose usually takes small adjustments over time.
How much does it cost?
Your consultation is complimentary and initial labs are $400. We explain the cost of your ongoing plan before you start. See our price guide.
Do you take insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly, but we can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for labs or visits.
