About PDGF+

What is an Ariessence PDGF+ treatment?

PDGF+ is built on platelet-derived growth factor, a signaling protein that plays a role in your skin's natural repair and renewal. At Epiphany we use Ariessence PDGF+, a growth-factor treatment designed to support that process and help skin look smoother, more even and refreshed. PDGF+ can be paired with MOXI and microneedling to support healing and boost results. We'll look at your skin and goals first and let you know if it's a good fit.

The research behind Ariessence PDGF+

  • Ariessence PDGF+ uses pure recombinant PDGF made in a sterile lab, with no blood draw, and is applied to the skin right after treatments like MOXI and microneedling (Ariessence).
  • In a prospective, randomized, controlled clinical trial, adding recombinant pure PDGF after RF microneedling improved aesthetic results and patient satisfaction compared with the control group (Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 2025).
  • PDGF is one of the most studied growth factors in wound healing and tissue repair. See the PDGF research library.

What to expect

  • A consultation to review your skin, goals and history.
  • A treatment plan that pairs PDGF+ with MOXI, microneedling or other skin care.
  • PDGF+ can minimize healing time by up to 50%.
  • Mild redness is common afterward and subsides significantly over a few hours after treatment, depending on the treatment it's paired with.
  • Results build gradually over the following 6 weeks.

FAQ

PDGF+ FAQs

Who is PDGF+ a good fit for?

PDGF+ can be a good option if you want to support smoother texture, a more even tone and a refreshed look. We'll review your skin and goals at your consultation to make sure it fits.

Is there downtime?

It depends on what PDGF+ is paired with. Mild redness is common afterward and subsides significantly over a few hours. PDGF+ can minimize healing time by up to 50%.

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients see the best results with a series of treatments. We'll recommend a plan based on your skin and goals.

Can I combine PDGF+ with other treatments?

Yes. PDGF+ pairs well with MOXI and microneedling, and can fit into a broader skin plan that may include facials or peels.
